The Archetype of the Divers' Watch

The Rolex Submariner

First created in 1953, the Rolex Submariner remains an iconic symbol of the conquest of the ocean for which it was made.

Just as at home on land as it is in the depths of the sea, this emblematic Rolex watch has irresistible attraction power.

The Archetype of the Divers' Watch

Assured Underwater

The Rolex Submariner was the first watch to reach a depth of 330 feet completely waterproof, and today the Oyster case guarantees this Rolex watch is waterproof to a depth of 1,000 feet.

The winding crown is fitted with the Triplock triple waterproofness system, protected by a crown guard and offering watertight security akin to a submarine’s hatch. This provides the high-precision mechanical movement with optimal protection. The unidirectional rotatable bezel of these Rolex watches are equipped with a Cerachrom bezel in ceramic – in black, blue or green, depending on the version. The 60-minute graduation allows divers to monitor their time underwater for their safety and the bezel’s knurled edge offers excellent grip when manipulating to set dive time.
