Georg Jensen: Offspring

Georg Jensen: Offspring
It was in 2000 that Jacqueline Rabun debuted her first collection for Georg Jensen. Featuring an egg-shaped resin bracelet, it was symbolic of the enduring relationship between a parent and their child.

For 2018, we see the curvilinear design reintroduced in a 26-piece collection, elegantly hand-sculpted in sterling silver and 18ct rose gold. Named ‘Offspring’, it represents Rabun’s flair for proportions, whilst continuing with Georg Jensen’s heritage of timeless sculptural designs.

Building on the original egg-shaped bangle, the new collection includes stylish, polished pendants as well as drop earrings and elegant bangles designed to sit perfectly on the wrist.

Interlocking ovals represent the bond between people, reflecting Jacqueline Rabun’s thoughtful and tender approach to design.

“The organic egg form is a symbol of birth, and the connection between the small and larger egg represents unconditional love and the importance of one’s heritage and roots.” Jacqueline Rabun.
