ON SET: Behind The Scenes 
When you step into a photography studio, your attention is immediately drawn to the hustle and bustle… the flashes of light, the sound of the camera’s shutter and teams of people busily working away to create the perfect imagery.

This was exactly the same just a few weeks back as the DMR team headed out on set, to begin work on our 2021/22 campaign, and we wanted to give you the inside scoop on the DMR Journal!

Not only does this latest campaign promise to introduce you all to some beautiful new images, but it also heralds the arrival of some fabulous new pieces of jewellery which will be launched in our showrooms and online throughout this year. All of these collections bring together the expertise of our designers, goldsmiths, marketing and showroom teams – a real collaborative DMR project that we know you will all LOVE!

At the front of this campaign, a face you will soon see across our showrooms and in DMR advertisements around the UK, is the beautiful and super glamorous Frederikke Winther, who travelled from her native Denmark to shoot with the team. Frederikke has previously graced the covers of Tatler and Elle, and we are thrilled to have had her join us on this latest project.

All shot on a single location, DMR’s latest campaign was photographed by John Rowley, a South African Born, London based photographer and director. John previously worked with DMR on our bridal campaign in 2019, which you may recall was shot in the stunning grounds of Soughton Hall in North Wales. As well as his previous DMR work, John is well known for his fashion work with titles such as You Magazine (Mail on Sunday), Millionair and A&E Magazine.

To ensure the perfect, elegant styling of this latest campaign, we knew that we needed a fashion stylist with lots of experience of luxury style. For this task, cue the arrival of Anna Woodham, well known for her work with Grazia and You Magazine (Mail on Sunday). Anna brings to the project an eye for understated elegance and her top picks will, we’re sure, make you head straight online for a shopping spree!

Bringing the ultimate lux finish to the shoot was our amazing glam squad. Introducing our fabulous make-up artist Lisa Valencia (previous work includes You Magazine and Good Housekeeping), celebrity hairstylist Bjorn Krischker (the marvellous talent behind the luscious locks of Liam Payne) and expert manicurist Christie Huseyin.
