OMEGA Watches: 100 days to go…

With just 100 days to go until the beginning of the delayed Olympic Games, official timekeeper OMEGA launches a new timepiece to mark this special moment in time. Introducing the new OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M “Tokyo 2020”.

As with many events over the last year, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games was postponed in light of the Coronavirus pandemic. With better days ahead, today marks 100 days until the beginning of the Games, a symbol of endurance, resilience and strength… and a welcome break that is needed now more than ever before.

The new OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M “Tokyo 2020” delivers a unique colour scheme which is inspired by the emblem of this year’s Olympic Games, combining style with the very best in watchmaking technology.

Its 42 mm case is crafted in stainless steel and is mounted with a blue ceramic bezel ring, filled with a white enamel diving scale. The watch is worn on a stainless steel polished-brushed bracelet, that is seamlessly integrated with the case.

Complimenting the blue, a polished white ceramic dial has extra depth, provided by the collection’s iconic laser-engraved waves. In line with the colours of this year’s emblem, the white dial is accompanied by the famous Seamaster name highlighted in red, and blued hands and indexed complete the final design, filled with white Super-LumiNova.

A sapphire crystal caseback has a transferred Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games emblem marking this special moment. Visible to the wearer through this caseback is the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, a movement officially certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) and boasting a 55- hour power reserve.
