TUDOR’s ‘Born to Dare’ mentality has long positioned them as the bold, adventurous member of the horological family. As ‘Watches & Wonders’ got underway this week, TUDOR’s new releases hold true to those daring values.

Black Bay Fifty-Eight 18K

Amongst the new timepieces to join the collection, TUDOR introduces a bold new version of its popular Black Bay Fifty-Eight. This new launch sees the first TUDOR divers’ watch in 18 ct yellow gold, with an open case back.

The 18 ct yellow gold case is entirely satin-finished, its colour emphasised by the elegant pairing of a “golden green” dial and bezel. TUDOR’s iconic “Snowflake” hands and the appliqués of the hour markers are also made from the same yellow gold alloy.

TUDOR’s Black Bay Fifty-Eight 18K is powered by their manufacture calibre MT5400, a movement that has been designed to ensure robustness, longevity, reliability and precision.

Two straps are included with this new timepiece. A classic dark brown alligator leather strap compliments the overall aesthetic, whilst a striking green Jacquard fabric strap with gold band wraps up the “golden green” theme.

Black Bay Fifty-Eight 925

A second new addition to TUDOR’s remarkable Black Bay Fifty-Eight collection welcomes another new material to the family. Introducing the TUDOR Black Bay Fifty-Eight 925. Like the Black Bay Fifty-Eight 18K, this 39mm timepiece features a satin finished case, but crafted this time from silver, with an incandescence.

This beautiful material is accentuated by a taupe dial and bezel. Numerous silver details are also added throughout, including the hour markers and “Snowflake” hands.

Also presented with two strap choices, the TUDOR Black Bay Fifty-Eight 925 can be worn on a brown grain leather strap, or taupe Jacquard fabric strap with silver band, another feature that emphasises the daring design choices taken by TUDOR.

Powered by their manufacture calibre MT5400, the Black Bay Fifty-Eight 925 boasts an impressive 70-hour power reserve and, like the rest of the collection, is waterproof to 200m.

TUDOR Black Bay Chrono

To mark 50 years of its chronographs, TUDOR relaunches the Black Bay Chrono at ‘Watches and Wonders’, in steel with a redesigned case and two dial options with contrasting sub-counters. In it, TUDOR presents the purest tradition of the sports chronograph.

The new chronograph features a satin-brushed and polished case in 316L stainless steel, measuring a comfortable 41 mm in diameter. Presenting time across domed black or opaline dials, TUDOR’s hallmark “Snowflake” hands feature grade A, Swiss Super-LumiNova® to aid legibility.

Clients are able to choose from three ways to wear their new Black Bay Chrono, with the option of a riveted steel bracelet, black Jacquard fabric strap or a cuff in black aged leather.

Powered by TUDOR’s manufacture chronograph calibre MT5813, a COSC-certified movement, the new Black Bay Chrono boasts a 70-hour power reserve and, like all TUDOR watches, is sold with a five-year transferable guarantee.
