As he prepares to head out on Tour for the next few weeks, we caught up with DMR-sponsored European Tour golfer Connor Syme, to get a bit of the inside story on life out on the course.

“Hi Team DMR,

Just wanted to check in before I head off to Qatar to play in my next European Tour event, the Qatar Masters. It’s been another interesting start to the season, but it was so great to be back out playing. My first event at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic was a good week and it was so nice to see some fans back out there enjoying live golf.

My game felt good however a little rusty which led to a few mistakes, but I have been working hard on my game over the last few weeks so I’m very excited to get back out there. My dad is also my coach so we have been trying to work hard in the off season on my game and I am looking forward to competing again soon.

Our home life has changed a lot since Christmas with the introduction of our new pup, Lola. She is absolutely adorable, loves chasing the golf balls round the garden when I’m practicing and even more so loves when I practice my putting!
