Today, TAG Heuer announce the beginning of an exciting collaboration, the strongest-ever partnership between a watchmaker and a car manufacturer. To celebrate this remarkable new relationship, TAG Heuer reveal a new 44mm Carrera timepiece, demonstrating the skill of this watchmaking genius.

A name associated with both brands for generations, the Carrera was the natural first choice for this first creative product collaboration. A tribute to the heritage of two legendary brands on and off the racetrack, the new TAG Heuer Carrera chronograph offers a first glimpse at what they can achieve together.

A nod to a distinctive brand…

Based on TAG Heuer’s Carrera Sport Chronograph design, with its distinctive tachymeter scale engraved on the bezel, the new timepiece introduces a number of features inspired by Porsche’s own design code.

In the unmistakeable Porsche font, Arabic numerals indicate the time, with contrasting black “azurage” chronograph counters found on the asphalt effect dial. The red, black and grey colours of Porsche are incorporated throughout the watch with Porsche engraved on the striking black ceramic tachymeter.

Elegant design meets watchmaking precision…

Powered by the in-house calibre Heuer 02 chronograph movement, this striking new chronograph boasts an impressive power reserve of 80 hours. The chronograph mechanism’s vertical clutch and column wheel demonstrate the brands’ unflinching demand for absolute precision.

Its sapphire crystal case back reveals the redesigned oscillating mass, a tribute to Porsche’s celebrated steering wheel.

This ground-breaking timepiece is presented either on a soft strap in luxurious calf leather and innovative stitching that echoes the Porsche interior or on an interlocking steel bracelet that reflects streamlined racing design.
