OMEGA: A bold new Seamaster

For 25 years, one timepiece has enjoyed a legendary following, for all the right reasons! Celebrating a special birthday this year, OMEGA unveils a facelift for the famous Seamaster Diver 300M.

Famed for its design and advanced ocean technology, the Seamaster Professional Diver 300M swept on to the world stage in 1993, signalling OMEGA’s triumphant return to the world of diving watches. Not only did it successfully do that, but the collection also ignited their long standing partnership with a certain Mr Bond.

Now in a new, slightly larger 42mm case, each new Diver 300M has been given a Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, demonstrating the brand’s desires to create precise, magnetic resistant timepieces. Rethinking every detail of the outward design, the new piece includes the iconic diving bezel, now made from ceramic, with a diving scale in Ceragold or white enamel. The white enamel provides longer-lasting whiteness and durability… Important features for divers and 007 alike!

Made from polished ceramic, the Diver 300M’s dial is available in black blue or sun-brushed PVD chrome colour. As another interesting addition, OMEGA reintroduces the wavy pattern- a popular feature of the original design.

Turning the watch to view its reverse reveals a wave-patterned edge on the caseback, with the METAS-approved movement visible through sapphire crystal.

Finally each of the 14 unique models- 6 in stainless steel, 8 in a mix of steel and 18ct gold- is presented on a traditional iconic metal bracelet, or an integrated black or blue rubber strap.

Ahead of his fifth appearance as James Bond, Daniel Craig is clearly at home in the water. First wearing an OMEGA watch on screen in 2006’s ‘Casino Royale’, OMEGA is proud to secure Daniel Craig as the face of the new Seamaster Diver 300M.
