Tudor at Baselworld 2018
It is their daring, risk-taking attitude that makes Tudor watches the perfect selection for DMR’s bold friends. At Baselworld 2018, Tudor certainly didn’t leave us disappointed when they introduced us to their typically daring new collection.

Tudor Black Bay GMT

This year, Tudor filled a gap in their collection, adding a timepiece that was perfect for the daring traveller. The Tudor Black Bay GMT. A striking timepiece, the Black Bay GMT sports a distinctive blue and burgundy bezel. Displaying time across a crisp black dial, snowflake hours and luminescent hour markers ensure maximum legibility… preparing the wearer for all conditions! A GMT feature allows the wearer to read local time as well as two additional timezones also displayed. Specially designed by Tudor for the Black Bay GMT, manufacture calibre MT5652 boasts a 70-hour power reserve, as well as being noted for its reliability and robustness.

Black Bay Fifty-Eight

Inspired by the original diver’s watches of the 1950s, the Black Bay Fifty-Eight is another of Tudor’s exciting releases for 2018. Celebrating 60 years since the year in which the first Tudor diver’s watch waterproof to 200m was introduced, the Black Bay Fifty-Eight features the brand’s iconic snowflake hands and screw-in winding crown, produced for the first time with a brushed satin finish. Tudor’s new mid-size manufacture calibre MT5402 movement retains the reliability of its larger counterparts, in a neat 39mm case. The Black Bay Fifty-Eight is available on a riveted steel bracelet a dark brown leather or black fabric strap.

Black Bay 32

Combining the technical sophistication of a tool-watch in a smaller, refined case, the Tudor Black Bay 32 is an exciting addition to Tudor’s extensive collection of timepieces for ladies. With an aesthetic that is perfect for 2018, the collection finds itself with over 60 years of Tudor’s divers heritage at its roots. Waterproof to 150 metres, the Black Bay 32 features a self-winding mechanical movement and robust steel case. Meticulously lacquered for a touch of elegance, the Black Bay 32 is now available with a new blue dial, capturing the light in a spectrum of blue hues. Like other pieces in the collection, the Black Bay 32 is available on a steel bracelet, leather or fabric strap.

1926 Line

Paying tribute to the early days of mechanical watches, Tudor’s 1926 line is family of pieces that are elegant and timeless. With a classic choice of pieces for both ladies and gentlemen, the Tudor 1926 is released in four case sizes with a selection of dials. Taking its name from the year in which founder Hans Wilsdorf registered the name ‘Tudor’, the range captures the essence of a truly remarkable brand. A delicately embossed dial sits within the case, a subtle contrast with the smooth minute scale. With comfort in mind, a stylish seven link bracelet closely follows the curve of the wrist, providing both strength and flexibility.
