DMR Sponsors Second Annual Rise Above Sportive Event
Following the success and popularity of the 2015 Mark Cavendish “Rise Above Sportive” event, this year's event is proving to be even more popular.

David M Robinson are proud to be a sponsor for the second year running as well as being the official timing partner for the Timed Climb. The event is set for the 28th August 2016 and is already shaping up to be the event of the summer.

The Rise Above Sportive provides you with the chance to ride across the beautiful landscape that Cheshire, Chester and North Wales has to offer, alongside the winner of the most prestigious cycling event in the world: The Tour de France.

The Sportive is a fantastic opportunity for you to not only experience a challenging and wonderful cycling event, but to also be part of a fantastic cause helping to raise money for charity – Help For Heroes and Right To Play, both of which Mark Cavendish is an ambassador for.

In the same format as 2015, there are three routes available for you to take part in. The Enthusiast route takes in 80km (with a maximum of 645m elevation). The Purist route incorporates 120km (maximum elevation of 1785m) and the Extremist route covers 160km with an elevation of 2575m. All three routes have been designed by Mark and have been tweaked a little from last year’s routes.

You can book your place(s) on the 2016 Rise Above Sportive by visiting the website here and choosing your route and if you’ll be entering as a solo rider or as part of a team. Places are limited so be sure to guarantee your place on this year’s Rise Above Sportive as soon as possible.
