TAG Heuer released six new watches at the Baselworld showcase this year. We’ve already covered the amazing Monza Chronograph, and in addition to that model TAG previewed two new TAG Heuer Carreras, Aquaracer Men, Aquaracer Lady and a new TAG Heuer Formula 1.
The TAG Heuer Carrera 01 is a fine example of TAG operating beyond the lines of what can be classed as the norm. The fully skeletonised case provides a great look at the internal workings of the watch, and it also looks good whilst doing it.The sharp contrast in colours with red and white counters and indicators presents a classic TAG Heuer look and is a must have for all TAG enthusiasts.
Similar to the 01 model, the TAG Heuer Carrera 02T provides a slightly toned down offering. Described by TAG as offering affordable Haute Horlogerie, the 02T is a symbol of technological performance, style and manufacturing expertise.
The new TAG Heuer Aquaracer is everything you would expect from the Aquaracer range. Stylish, sleek and expertly crafted. Water resistant to 300m, the new 2016 model has had its power and its size increased for the Geneva showcase. Increased to 43mm from its previous 41mm casing, and powered by TAG’s Calibre 5 movement, it’s the quintessential sports watch.
Not to be outdone by its counterpart, the Aquaracer Ladies model is simply sublime. Crafted in ceramic, water resistant to 300m, and effortlessly stylish. The new range is part of TAG Heuer’s new family of watches made entirely from ceramic, a material that TAG say is the perfect material for the watchmaking industry.
Last but not least is the TAG Heuer Formula 1. The Formula 1 range from TAG has always been an extremely popular range with fans, and the 2016 model doesn’t disappoint. 43mm in size, classic black dial with white counters and indicators and a black titanium bezel. The watch features three chronographs, is waterproof to 200m and is a superb example of TAG’s dedication to creating outstanding timepieces.
