In 1982, IWC produced their first diver’s watch with a highly luminous external rotating bezel. Over time, the Aquatimer family of watches has seen striking modifications that have continued to cement IWC as the leaders of mechanical watchmaking. The larger overall size of the latest Aquatimers has opened up this watch family to a brand new generation of watch enthusiasts.

Established in 1868, IWC was founded by an American, Florentine Ariosto, with the aim of supplying America with Swiss-made timepieces.
