Alinghi in pole position in America's Cup

    Even though Round 7 of the America's Cup was cancelled today due to insufficient wind, Alinghi, the Swiss entry sponsored by Audemars Piguet leads 4 -2 heading into the conclusion of the event.  Alinghi, the defending champion of the event leads Team New Zealand as the event draws to a close. 

Round 7 of the America's Cup wil now take place on Monday 2nd July 2007.
