Since 1860 Panerai have been making the most prestigious of sports watches for the discerning buyer. From humble beginnings in a small store in Florence, Giovanni Panerai worked tirelessly to use his high precision mechanical engineering background to create timing instruments for the Italian Navy. Shortly after this the company became Officine Panerai.

In 2002 Officine Panerai opened the new manufacture Panerai in Neuchatel, Switzerland and began developmental work on a series of new movements that are now being seen in the current model collection.
